Responsibilities All members are expected to participate in the activities of the National Honor Society as required by the advisors. This would include, but is not limited to: 1. Induction Ceremony - All members will have a responsibility. 2. Fund Raiser(s) - All members are expected to do their share in these endeavors. Guidelines will be provided at the time. 3. Academic Awards - Members who are not receiving awards or other recognition at the banquet may be asked to assist the advisors and caterers on the night of the banquet. 4. Service Project - All members are expected to fully participate in any service project proposed by the advisors. 5. Academic Requirements - You must meet all requirements for graduation and maintain an 86 average. 6. Academic Standing - If your academic average falls below 86, you will be placed on academic probation. By the end of the following semester, if the average is still below 86, membership will be recalled with no re-admittance. ***This applies right up to your graduation date!!! A failure in any subject at the end of any term calls for immediate dismissal (no probationary period given). |
